General Condition:

  • The applicant has to submit the application (duly filled) in prescribed format along with all the testimonials in support of age, qualification, experience, C.G. domicile & caste certificate as applicable should reach to the 0/o C.E. (HR), Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited, Shed No. – 3, Vidyut Sewa Bhawan Parisar, Dangania, Raipur (C.G.) 492013 by the last date of submission i.e. 23.03.2021. Failing to do so, her/his candidature shall be summarily rejected.
  • The Candidates must be bonafide resident of C.G. State only.
  • CSPGCL will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in respect of receipt of application form.
  • Interview shall be held at Chhattisgarh State Power Companies Head Quarters at Dangania, Raipur.
  • CSPGCL reserves the right to cancel the complete process of contract appointment, if required.
  • Contract Appointee shall be governed by the CG Civil Service Conduct Rules 1965, Mines act 1952, Rules & Regulations there under. Leave & other conditions of contract appointment shall be as per “Chhattisgarh Civil Sewa (Samvida Niyukti) Niyam 2012 86 its amendments adopted by Power Companies.
  • Contract appointment may be teiminated any time by either side by giving one months notice.
  • Residential accommodation shall not be provided by the Company as the fixed remuneration is inclusive of HRA.
  • As per Civil Services (Contract appointment) Rules 2012 appointee shall be entitled to avail 03 days Optional Leave and 18 days Casual Leave for a calendar year. On appointment/relieving in the middle of year, casual leave will be on proportionate basis.
  • In case of ST/SC/OBC candidates applying for the advertised posts, valid caste certificate is to be submitted along with the application. The age relaxation for ST, SC 86 OBC candidates shall be as applicable in such cases as declared by C.G. Govt.
  • In case of retired candidates applying for the advertised posts, the retirement related document(s) are to be submitted along with the application.
  • During the period of contract appointment, the head quarter of the candidate shall be at Gare Pelma Sector – III Coal Mine Tehshil – Tamnar, District Raigarh (C.G.).
  • After appointment, appointee shall produce Medical Fitness Certificate issued by Divisional Medical Board/District Medical Board (as applicable) at time of joining.
  • In case the candidate has worked/is working in any organization, then a certificate from previous/present employer regarding satisfactory performance rendered by the candidate during entire service period must be enclosed with the application.
  • Remuneration/pay for the above posts if appointed after retirement from Central/State Govt./Govt. undertaking services shall be governed by Chhattisgarh Civil Sewa (Samvida Niyukti) Niyam 2012 86 its amendment adopted by Power Companies or as per remuneration shown in column (6) against the said posts whichever is higher.

  • Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited is the electricity generation company of the Government of Chhattisgarh state in India.
  • Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board was formed in accordance with the Section 5 of the Electricity Supply Act 1948 as per the Notification published in the gazette of the Government of Chhattisgarh dated 15 November 2000. Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) became functional w.e.f. 01.12.2000. Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board has been reorganized into five companies in accordance with the provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003 by the Govt. of Chhattisgarh. Thus Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited became functional w.e.f. 01.01.2009.
  • The installed capacity as of 31.07.2010 was 1924.7 MW comprising 1786 MW from coal-based thermal and 138.70 MW from hydroelectric power stations. and some 6 MW is coming from co-generation sources.
  • Hasdeo Thermal Power Station also known as Korba West Thermal Power Station, an 840 MW (4×210 MW) coal-based thermal power plant. Capacity addition of 500 MW (2×250 MW) is ongoing at the site, this phase is known as Korba West Extension Thermal Power Plant
  • Dr Shyama Prasad Mukharjee Thermal Power Station, a 500 MW (2×250 MW) coal-based thermal power plant.
  • Korba Thermal Power Station also known as Korba East Thermal Power Station, a 440 MW (4×50 MW, 2×120 MW) coal-based thermal power plant.
  • The Chhattisgarh State was formed as per the Madhya Pradesh Reorganization Act 2000. The President of India gave his consent to this Act on the 25th August 2000. The Government of India subsequently set the first day of November 2000 as the day on which the State of Madhya Pradesh would be bifurcated into State of Chhattisgarh and State of Madhya Pradesh.
