Nature of Employment
This position is on an immediate absorption basis, meaning candidates currently employed in Central/State Government, CPSEs, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies will be absorbed into NCRTC without a break in service. The selected candidate will be placed in the E4 grade with a competitive pay scale and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
The Deputy General Manager (Admin) will play a pivotal role in:
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements related to establishment and facilities management.
- Preparing tender documents, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and bid evaluation reports.
- Facilitating procurement through GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and e-tendering platforms.
- Maintaining procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Ensuring adherence to CVC (Central Vigilance Commission) guidelines, GFR (General Financial Rules), and internal procurement policies.
- Managing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and service agreements.
- Coordinating official events, conferences, and high-level protocols.
- Overseeing ERP and e-procurement systems for efficient administrative operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as of 03/03/2026 to be considered for the position:
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential: A full-time MBA from a UGC-recognized Indian University, Deemed University, or an AICTE-approved institution.
- Candidates with dual specializations in their MBA must ensure that one specialization aligns with the functional requirements of the Admin role.
- Only regular, full-time courses will be considered. Distance learning or part-time degrees are not eligible.
- Candidates claiming equivalence in qualifications must provide a valid equivalence certificate from the concerned authority.
2. Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience at the level of E2 (Rs. 50,000–1,60,000) or L9 (Rs. 53,100–1,67,800) or above in:
- Central/State Government organizations
- CPSEs (Central Public Sector Enterprises)
- PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings)
- Autonomous Bodies
- Government Instrumentalities
Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following pay scale criteria:
- For CDA Pay Scale: Currently in pay scale Rs. 78,800–2,09,200 (L12) or above OR have served the last 3 years in pay scale Rs. 67,700–2,08,700 (L11).
- For IDA Pay Scale: Currently in pay scale Rs. 70,000–2,00,000 (E4) or above OR have served the last 3 years in pay scale Rs. 60,000–1,80,000 (E3).
3. Age Limit
The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years as of 03/03/2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Government of India norms.
4. Additional Conditions
- Candidates must be Indian nationals above 18 years of age.
- Only candidates working in regular capacity with Government entities/CPSEs/SPSEs are eligible. Contract or ad-hoc employees are not eligible for immediate absorption.
- Teaching or freelancing experience will not be considered as qualifying experience.
- Candidates must be physically and medically fit to perform the duties of the post.
