Coast Guard Region West Qualification
The Region West recruitment covers positions requiring Matriculation/Class 10 or Class 12-level qualifications, depending on the post. The available short recruitment notice does not provide the complete post-wise educational qualification, age limit, technical/trade requirements or experience conditions. Candidates should therefore check Recruitment Notification No. CGRHQ(WEST)/01/2026 before applying rather than assuming that a Class 10 or Class 12 qualification alone is sufficient for a particular post. This is particularly important for positions such as Engine Driver and CMTD (OG), which may carry post-specific licence, competency, trade or experience requirements in the detailed notification.
Coast Guard Region West Selection Process
The short notification identifies the vacancies as direct recruitment posts but does not provide a complete selection scheme. Written examination, skill/trade test and document verification may be conducted where prescribed in the detailed notification. Candidates should follow the detailed CGRHQ(WEST)/01/2026 notice for the exact selection stages applicable to their post. No interview or other selection stage should be assumed unless it is specifically provided in the detailed notification.
