Government, PSU’s or from Private Sector for the post of General Manager (Signal & Telecom) under Open Category in the pay scale of Rs 51,300 — 73,000 (IDA) and perks and other allowances as per MMRCL Rules on Deputation basis/ Regular basis.

Roles and Responsibilities: As Head of Department (HOD), he/she shall be responsible for all Procurement, Implementation, Operations and Maintenance related activities of Signalling & Train Control Systems, Platform Screen Doors, Automatic Fare Collection
System, Station Security System etc., and their integration with other Electrical & Rolling Stock Systems, Track & Other Civil Works as applicable for a Metro Rail System (covering stations, Tunnels, Track, Car Shed Depot and Operations Control Centre.)
Qualification: Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized and reputed University.
Desirable:
1. Candidate should have experience of working in construction projects of Railways / Metros/ other PSUs/ Private sector, dealing with Signalling and Telecommunication Systems.
2. Candidate should be conversant with International Competitive Bidding, computerized environment working and latest Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T) technologies etc.
3. Adequate experience in planning, designing, supply, testing & commissioning of Signalling & Telecommunications systems for underground / elevated Metro/ Rail projects in urban & suburban environment including consultancy works related to modern urban rail projects.
4. Candidates with experience of working of modern urban rail systems will be preferred.
