General Instruction:

  • Only eligible candidates should apply who fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification.i,’—IVA They should carefully read the advertisement. If they are satisfied that they fulfill the eligibility\and other terms and conditions applicable and have all the requisite documents at the time of applying, then they should register and apply on www.mponline.gov.in. Candidate has to fill all the particulars in one\go. After filling all the details, the candidate should see its preview. Edit option is available for correcting the data.
  • Before applying online, applicant should satisfy himself that he is fulfilling desired qualification, eligibility and other terms and conditions.Administration has the right to cancel the application at any stage of selection. if candidate is not fulfilling the requisite qualification and has been erroneously selected, the candidature of such candidate will be terminated without any information.
  • Candidate not possessing the ITI certificate issued by NCVT are not eligible to apply. In such applications, no correspondence will be made with any person or organization.
  • Selection Process-Panel will be formed as per the instructions contained in North Central Railway Headquarters office, Prayagraj’s letter No. – 797-EfTrg/Act.App.1961/NCR/2013 Part-11 dt. 23,11.15
  • The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merittist prepared from the list of eligible candidates. There will be no written or oral examination for this selection.
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of average of percentage of marks obtained inl Om or equivalent examination from any recognized Board/Institute and percentage of marks obtained in ITI.
  • The calculation of percentage of marks will be based on the total marks obtained in 10th or its equivalent examination from an education Board/institute and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
  • if more than one candidate get equal average marks/percentage, than the older candidate will rank higher in the list. The above information will be computerized and the merit will be prepared in this manner.
  • Final select list will be prepared Tradewise, Communitywise, Categorywise, Reservationwise -prepared • out of the combined merit.
  • The select list equal to twice the number of Act Apprentices slot will be prepared i.e. main list equal to number of Act Apprentices slot and waiting list of equal number of candidates. Candidate equal to the number of Act Apprentices slot will be called from the main list for dOCument verification and medical examination. Thereafter, candidates equal to the number of candidates found unsuitable during document verification or medical examination or being absent will be called from the waiting list in order of merit and seniority.
  • The candidate will be eligible for training only after being declared medically fit by Authorized Railway Medical Officer. if the candidate fails in medical examination, his/her claim for training wiil not- be accepted.
  • No Daily allowance or Travelling allowance will be payable to the candidates called for document verification and medical examination.
  • Hostel/Residential facility wi,l1 not be provided to selected candidates. The selected candidates will have to make boarding and lodging arrangements themselves during the course of training period.
  • The merit list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the North Central Railway’s website www.ncrindianrailway.eov.in and candidates included in eligible list will be informed by post. No correspondence will be made in this regard with other candidates.

  • The candidates who have already completed their training under Apprentice Act,1961 from any other institute/establishment are not eligible to apply under this notification.
  • The selected candidate or his/her guardian(in case of minor) has to execute an apprenticeship contract or agreement with employer before apprenticeship training as prescribed under the Apprentice Act, 1961.
  • After completion of training every apprentice has to undertake Trade Test on all India level conducted by Director General, Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment, New Delhi. Passed candidate will get National Trade Certificate but will have no guarantee of employment after training.
  • Every candidateisrequired to register on website apprenticeshIpindla,org,before applying. After registration, candidate should apply for the seals notified by N.C. Railway,DRM Office Jhansi in the enclosed profomia with all relevant documents. Apart from this, a copy of registration slip Must be brought at the time of document verification to this office along with the application otherwise application will not be entertained.   • The North Central Railway (abbreviated NCR) is one of the 18 railway zones in India. The largest railway station in NCR is Kanpur Central. It is headquartered at Allahabad and comprises three divisions: Allahabad division, Jhansi division, Agra division of the erstwhile Northern Railway, Jhansi division of the erstwhile Central Railway, and new Agra division.
  • The North Central Railway, in its present form, came into existence on 1 April 2003. The North Central Railway present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.
  • By December 2017, railways for the first time installed 6,095 GPS-enabled “Fog Pilot Assistance System” railway signalling devices in four most affected zones, Northern Railway zone, North Central Railway zone, North Eastern Railway zone and North Western Railway zone, by doing away with the old practice of putting firecrackers on train tracks to alter train divers running trains on snail’s pace. With these devices, train pilots precisely know in advance, about the location of signals, level-crossing gates and other such approaching markers.
  • Serving the heartland of India, the North Central Railways comprises the following three divisions.
    Allahabad railway division
    Jhansi railway division
    Agra railway division
  • The zone spreads across all three divisions mentioned above. It extends from Ghaziabad (excl.) in the north to Mughalsarai (excl.) in the east on New Delhi-Howrah trunk route and from Palwal (excl.) to Bina (excl.) on New Delhi Mumbai/Chennai corridor. North Central Railway span parts of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh with about 3062 route km of BG comprising predominately double line- electrified sections defining the sides and diagonals of the Golden Quadrilateral.[4] NCR consists of 202 main line stations & 221 branch line stations. This zone forms a corridor for trains almost directions viz. East to north and north to east a total of 29 pairs of mail-express trains daily west/south to north and north to south/west total 37 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily east to Southwest and southwest to east a total of 25 pairs of Mail/Express trains daily East to West & West to East a total of 12 pairs of Mail/Express Trains Daily.
