Advertisement for the post of Senior Fellow (Professor)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Post of Senior Fellow
(Professor) (UR-1) in Agricultural Economics Research Centre, University of Delhi in the Pay
Scale of Rs.37,400-67000 + AGP Rs.10,000/- (pre revised) revised Pay Level-14
(Rs.1,44,200) under 7th CPC with admissible allowances. Incumbent so appointed may also
be required to perform the duties of the Director. The qualification for the said post is as
under:
Essential Qualification for DU:
1. An eminent scholar with Ph. D Degree in Agricultural Economics/Economics and allied
discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work.
2. Ten years of teaching/research experience in University/College/ Academic/ Research
Institute.
Or
An outstanding professional/scholar in the field of Agricultural Economics, who has
made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned discipline.
Desirable Qualification for DU:
At least 10 years of experience in organizing and guiding research work in Agricultural Economics and rural surveys in research organization of higher learning.
Administrative experience of higher level will be an added advantage.
