General Information:

  • The Candidate must be citizen of India.
  • Before applying for a post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview/ any other assessment test.
  • The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the University to interview all these candidates, the University may restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or by holding screening test or any method devised by the University.
  • The University reserves its right to place reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview. The number of such candidates will be decided by the Committee constituted by the University for the purpose.
  • In-service candidates shall route their applications through proper channel.However, candidates are advised to submit an advance copy of the application form well before the last date. They will however, be considered for interview only after their applications through proper channel are received by the University.
  • Relaxation of 5% is granted to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed their Master’s degree in relevant subject prior to 19th Sept. 1991.
  • Relaxation of 5% is granted at Master’s degree level in relevant subject to the Physically and visually Handicapped persons.
  • Relaxation of 5% is granted at Master’s degree level in relevant subject to the candidates who pass their Matric examination from rural schools of Haryana. For this purpose, schools which fall under the jurisdiction of Village Panchayats of Haryana shall be classified as rural schools.
  • Relaxation of 5% may be provided at the master’s level for the SC/ ST category.
  • Application not accompanied by necessary/ required documents, self-attested copies of degrees/ certificates/ mark sheets/ experience certificates/ category certificate/ reprints (if applicable) issued by the competent authority will be considered as incomplete and rejected.
  • Applicants must attach the proof of indexed/ refereed/ impact factors/ national or international, along with first page of research publications claimed for API.
  • The eligibility of candidates will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of application forms.
  • Any change of address given in the application form should immediately be communicated to the University.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • The University shall not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
  • In cases of any disputes, any suites or legal proceedings against the University, the territorial jurisdiction shall be restricted to the District Court Palwal, Haryana and Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
  • The university reserves the rights not to fill up any of the vacancies advertised.
  • Minimum three applications are mandatory for recruitment and selectionprocess.
  • Separate Application form should be submitted for more than one post along with requisite fee.
  • The candidates belonging to the category of EWS will enclose necessary certificates with their application form from a Competent Authority in support of their claim.
  • The candidates claiming benefit/ reservation under category of Haryana are directed to also fill their respective category i.e. General/ SC/ BC-‘A’/ BC-‘B’/EWS to which they belong.
  • Candidates must regularly visit the university website (www.svsu.ac.in) for all the details and updates related to the recruitment process.
  • In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of recruitment /selection, if detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment order. University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication send to the candidates.
  • The benefit of reservation will be given only to those SC/ BC-A/ BC-B, Physical Handicapped, EWS Category Candidates and DESM/ ESM or ESP who are domicile of Haryana State. The Eligible Sports Persons shall be required to produce the Sports Certificate as per Govt. Notification dated 25.05.2018 & 15.11.2018 duly issued by the Competent Authority.
  • Paper presented if part of edited book or proceeding then it can be claimed only once.
  • For joint supervision of research students, the formula shall be 70% of the total score for Supervisor and Co- supervisor. Supervisor and Co-supervisor, both shall get 7 marks each.
  • For the purpose of calculating research score of the teacher, the combined research score from the categories of 5(b). Policy Document and 6. Invited lectures/Resource Person/Paper presentation shall have an upper capping of thirty percent of the total research score of the teacher concerned.
  • The research score shall be from the minimum of three categories out of six categories.
