General Instruction:

  • Online applications are invited with effect from 01.12″2020 (from4:00 PM)to 08.12.2020(up tii 4:00 PM) from lndian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura. for selection to the following posts under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. All posts are Permanent and period of probation is 2-years’ Category wise vacancy position is as follows:
  • Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the post. Candidates applying for a post should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for selection to the post. Selection is subject to scrutiny of documents and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form, Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. Their admission to all the stages of the selection process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Application Acknowledgement to a candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared by the Board. Similarly getting invitation for scrutiny of documents will not entitle a candidate any right for selection to the post for recruitment. ln case of any subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection I appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected. Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc. as laid down in
    this notification, will be rejected without further communication. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this notification.
  • TRBT’s functions are limited up to selection of candidates for a particular post and recommend it. to the concerned department. The recruitment will be done by the requisitioning department and TRBT shall not be held responsible.for recruitment. Genuinity / authenticity of all documents will be checked by the recruiting department after recommendation by TRBT. The recruiting department has the right to deny offer of appointment or to terminate a candidate after recruitment if any of the documents submitted by candidate is found to be not genuine or forged or fake. The recruiting department may take appropriate legal action against such candidates.
  • Candidates must be in possession of minimum required qualification and mark sheet(s)/ certificate of the academic and professional qualification as on the last date of submission of application as mentioned in this notice. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificate issued by competent authority of Tripura will only be valid.
  • Those who are employed must submit “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) in original issued by the competent Authority of the Department/ Agency where he/she is currently employed. It will be presumed that all such candidates applying for the post have obtained NOC from the competent
    authority stating that the Department/Agency has no objection it he I she joins the post applied for. NOC should be submitted at the time of scrutiny of documents. Candidature of in-service candidates will be summarily rejected if they fail to produce NOC during scrutiny of documents. Mere issue of Application Acknowledgement to a candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared by the Board. Candidates must also possess Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) issued by competent authority.
  • The candidates(other than relaxed criteria) must note that T-TET Certificates issued to them are based on the fact that the Teachers’ Training Diploma/Degree obtained by them is from the lnstitution recognised by NCTE/ RCI {as applicable). However, if any dispute is noticed/reported at
    any stage regarding the recognition status of the institution from where the candidate obtained the Teachers’ Training Diploma/Degree or if it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility and recruited on the basis of false/forgedfake certificate/qualification/inadvertent error,
    the Board will recommend the concerned authority to take appropriate action against such candidate. TRBT resirrves the right to change any of the terms and conditions of this notification.
  • TRBT will publish all further notifications only at www.trb.tripura.gov.in. All candidates are advised to visit Board’s website regularly.
  • Candidates having disability such as Blind or Low Vision (Partially Blind), Partially Deaf and Locomotors Disability (Ortho) can only apply under PH category. The percentage of disability must be 40% or above. P.H. candidates must select the type of disability from the dropdown box and also
    mention percentage of disability while filling in online registration form.

  • In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the RTE Act, National council for Teacher Education had vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in various levels of classes. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she / he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
  • Accordingly, Government of Tripura has constituted the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) for conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for selection of candidates at elementary level (for classes I to VIII) as well as conduct of Selection Test for Graduate Teachers (for classes IX-X) and Selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers (for classes XI-XII) for recommendation of recruitment of teachers.
  • Presently, office of the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) is located in the premises of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kunjaban, Agartala and exercises power throughout the state of Tripura. The Board functions with the Chairman, Member Secretary, three Members, Controller of Examinations, and other office staff.
  • Preparation of guidelines / regulations on the matter relating to selection of teachers at various levels of schools.
  • Conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Classes I to V and VI to VIII (Elementary Stage).
  • Conduct of other Selection Tests for recruitment of teachers for classes IX-X (Graduate Teacher) and classes XI-XII (Post Graduate Teacher).
