Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Probationary Engineer position at BEL, candidates must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E or B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks
* Graduation from recognized institutions by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

The selection process for the Probationary Engineer position at BEL involves two stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview.

* The minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in both CBT and interview separately.
* Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the CBT based on their performance in the test.
* The weightage for CBT is 85 marks, and interview is 15 marks.
* Candidates will be selected for interview in the order of merit in the ratio 1:5.
