Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the JKSSB recruitment drive, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate from any recognized university
- Knowledge of type writing with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute
- For Junior Stenographer: Graduation from any recognized University, having minimum speed of 65 and 35 words per minute in shorthand and type writing respectively.
- For Junior Scale Stenographer: Graduation from any recognized University, having minimum speed of 65 and 35 words per minute in shorthand nd type writing respectively

The application process for JKSSB recruitment drive is as follows:

- No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
- Application fee: Rs. 600/- for all candidates, Rs. 500/- for SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS categories
- Fee can be paid only through online mode viz. Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards
