The Central Bank of India has announced a recruitment for 266 Zone Based Officer (ZBO) vacancies. The selection of candidates for ZBO posts is based on written examinations and interviews.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline or any equivalent qualification (Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant)) recognized as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
Candidates should be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in any one of the specified opted local languages of the applied Zone.

The minimum age should not be less than 21 years and the maximum age should be more than 32 years. Candidates must have been born not later than 30.11.2003 and not earlier than 01.12.1992 (both days inclusive).

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for Zonal Based Officer posts is based on Written Examination and Interviews.
Qualified candidates in written exam will be shortlisted to appear for Interview. The weightage for the Online Test and interview shall be 80:20 respectively.
Exam Pattern
The CBI ZBO exam will consist of 120 objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 120 marks.
The questions will be asked from the subjects namely i.e. English Language, Banking Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, Present Economic Scenario & General Awareness.

The pay scale for appointed candidates for Zonal Based Officer (ZBO) posts in Assistant Manager (Scale I) is Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.
Exam Centre
The Central Bank online written exam for Zonal Based Officer (ZBO) is tentatively scheduled for March 2025. The exam will be held at below mentioned centre/venue.
