Eligible candidates are required to walk-in-for an interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Laboratory Assistant and Field-cum-Technical Assistant (one post each) in a project on “Geo-Spatial Database for Urban Local Body(ULB): A case of Cuttack Municipal Corporation” funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.

1.Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of vacancy: One
Emolument Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA as per Central Govt. Norms.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course
2.Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of vacancy: One
Emolument Rs. 28,000/- per month plus HRA as per Central Govt. Norms.
Qualification:Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience
3.Field-cum-Technical Assistant Number of Post: One
Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- per month.
Qualification:M.Sc. with First Class/ BE/ B.Tech./ M.B.A etc
4.Laboratory Assistant Number of Post: One
Emoluments: Rs. 5000/- per month
Qualification:B.Sc. with First Class/ Three years Diploma
The S.R.F. will conduct studies on G I S development, to prepare action plans and to document the users’ task. In addition he will test and counsel the responsibilities of J R F. The J R F will be in the charge to conduct Remote Sensing Studies, Field Survey, Development of database / digital maps and development of users’ need.
The laboratory assistant will be in the charge of maintenance of hardware / software accessories in the lab.
The Field Cum Technical Asst. will assist S R F / J R F and other personals in open field survey and workshop assessments. He will also collaborate and assist towards the proper fulfillments of different technical / designing aspects of the project.
