The Diesel Locomotive Works in Varanasi, India, is a production unit owned by Indian Railways, that manufactures diesel-electric locomotives and its spare parts. It is the largest diesel-electric locomotive manufacturer in India.

Post Vacancy: Scout & Guide Persons
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- Minimum High School Pass Or Its Equivalent
(ii) For Pay Bank Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- Minimum Intermidiate (10+2) Pass Or Its Equivalent with not less than 50% marks. (Subject to availability in clerical cCadre.) (Authority Railways bd’s letter no. E(NG)II/2015/RC-I/GenI./I Dtd-05-03-2015)
(iii) Pay Band Rs. 5200-202000+ GP 1800/- Minimum High School Pass Or Its Equivalent
Age: For pay band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- 18 to 29 years and pay band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1800/- 18 to 32 years as on 01.01.2015 (Upper age relaxation will be for SC/ST 05 years and for OBC-03 years as per extent rule) (Authority-Railways bd’s letter no. (E(NG)II/94/RR-I/29 Dtd.-11.05.2015)
Fees: The processing fee for recruitment will be Rs.100/- (in case of SC/ST/Female & Handicapped/ Minority (Muslim/Sikkh/Chritian/Boudh/Parsi) Candidates fees are exempted) payment should be made in favour of F.A. & C.A.O. DLW/ VARANASI. Through Indian Postal Order/Bank Droft.

How to Apply:
(i) Applications are invited in the prescribed format as attached at “Annecure-A” “B” & “C” with a recent passport size photograph pasted thereon bearing full signture of the candidate sign by half on photo and half on application form.
(ii) Attach two self addressed envelopes (one stamped of Rs. 5/- & one unstamped.)
(iii) Copies of document viz, Birth, Educational, Caste & Scout Guide qualification attached.
