Applications in the prescribed format through email are invited till 5.00 PM of 27-6-2015 from the citizens of India as defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India for filling up 191 (One hundred ninty one) vacancies of Stenographers Grade-III for the subordinate judiciary of Assam in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200+GP 2900 (PB-2) plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules. The number of vacancies shown above is indicative only and may vary at the time of final selection. All vacancies which are likely to arise on or before 31-12-2015 may also be included. Reservation of posts for different categories would be as per Rules.

Salary:scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200+GP 2900 (PB-2)
Eligibility Criteria:
(a)Candidate who has passed H.S. examination from any recognized Board/Council/University.
(b)Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/any other institute, and
(c)The candidate should have adequate knowledge of official/local language(s) of the State of Assam.
How To Apply:Candidates who fulfill the requisite criteria can apply through e-mail only by filling the prescribed application form annexed with this advertisement in the following manner:
(a)The applicant should download the prescribed application form and fill in the details in MS Word format.Save the completed application form in .doc or .docx format.
(b)Scanned copy of the passport size photograph of the candidate should be in .jpg or .jpeg format.The image dimension of the photo should be 3.5 cm (width) and 4.5 cm (height). The size of image of photograph should be between 5kb to 30kb.
(c)Scanned copy of the applicant’s signature should be on clean white background in .jpg or .jpeg format.The image dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) and 1.5 (height). The size of the image of signature should be between 5kb to 30kb.
(d)Send the documents at SI. No. (a), (b) & (c) above as attachments to the e-mail ID:Stenographer and in the subject line of the mail please write “Application form of Steno Grade-III for subordinate courts of Assam”. Before sending the mail, please ensure that the three attachments are attached/loaded properly.
Applications submitted through any other mode, except as indicated above, will be summarily rejected, unless otherwise decided by the Gauhati High Court.
