Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
(i)Matriculation or its equivalent; Possession of Engine Driver certificate granted under Inland Steam Vessels Act, 1917 (1 of 1917);
(OR)
(ii) Should be in possession of a Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver of a Motor Vessel having engines of less than 226 BHP issued by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Port Harbour Craft Rules.
(iii) Knowledge of Swimming.
(iv)Should pass the trade test prescribed and conducted by the Port
