General Conditions:
- Applications are invited from the Indian nationals, giving full details of educational qualifications and experience for the Research Associateposition for ICSSR project on “Assessing the Logistics Cost Competitiveness and the impact of Zero liquid Discharge (ZLD) Norm on the Livelihood Patterns and health Conditions”. The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
- The appointment will be made for an initial period of 6 months but can be extended depending on the duration of the project from ICSSR.
- Requirements/Qualification: Candidates should have qualified the post-graduation in any of the following disciplines of social sciences:
- PublicAdministration/Economics/Statistics/RuralDevelopment/Sociology/Management/Commerce and any other related suitable discipline and interest in social science disciplines with minimum 55% marks in graduation and post-graduation withNET/SLET/M.Phil. /Ph.D (preferred). The applicants are desired to know the computer knowledge and handling of primary data in software like SPSS.
- CANDIADTES for Research Assistant and Research Associate posts are Required to Join IMMEDIATELY
- For Field Investigator : The candidate must be preferably from any of the following region (Coimbatore/Tirupur/Erode/Salem and Karur). The candidate is required to collect data from the 3 selected regions/cities and nearby. Local Travel and other allowances will be paid as per IIFT rules.

Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interviews. The appointment will be purely on contract basis, the post has been created for the execution of this research project only.

- The Ministry of Education, Government of India (GoI), has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier organization under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, registered as a self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization
- The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute in the skill building for the external trade sector of India. The Institute was granted “Deemed to be University” status in 2002. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has recognized IIFT as Grade ‘A’ Institution in 2005 as well as in 2015.
- MBA (International Business), flagship programme of IIFT, is a six-trimester general management residential programme with a focus on International Business. IIFT has campuses at Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada.
- Admission to the programme is through an entrance exam and interview/group discussion etc. Further details are available in the Prospectus hosted on the Institute’s website www.iift.edu.
- NTA will be conducting the entrance exam for admission to the MBA(IB) of IIFT for 2021-23.
- Eligibility: Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with 50% marks in Graduation (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Candidates appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply. • There is no age limit.
