Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the Research Associate (RA) position at DMSRDE Kanpur, candidates must meet
the following academic requirements:

Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines such as:
- Materials Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Polymer Science
- Nanotechnology
- Other allied fields related to defense materials research

OR Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (ME/M.Tech)
in the above-mentioned disciplines with 3 years of research experience in relevant areas.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with prior experience in defense research projects,
published research papers, or patents will be given preference.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years as of the date of the interview.
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
