Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate engineering degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Applied Electronics / Power Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation & Control from a Government-recognized University/Institute.

Essential Work Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in:

  • Design/specifications, planning, administration of contracts
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of Signaling/PSD System works
  • Railway Systems / Metro / LRT / Sub-urban Rail / RRTS

Experience Requirements by Post and Basis

For Chief General Manager (CGM) Level:

  • IDA Scale / PSUs / Government Organizations / Metro Rail / Railways: 20 years of post-qualification executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
  • CDA Scale: 20 years of post-qualification executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
  • Private Industries (Metro/Railway-related): 23 years of executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
  • Post-Superannuation Basis: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.

For General Manager (GM) Level:

  • IDA Scale / PSUs / Government Organizations / Metro Rail / Railways: 17 years of post-qualification executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
  • CDA Scale: 17 years of post-qualification executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
  • Private Industries (Metro/Railway-related): 20 years of executive experience, with relevant work experience as specified above.
