  • RITES will be providing Company/Leased Accommodation as per entitlement to the officer who joins RITES on deputation; As per Railway Board letter No. E(G)2008QR-1-15 dated 31.05.2017,Railway Officers/staff in occupation of Railway accommodation in areas other than Delhi/NCR on their deputation may be permitted to retain their Railway accommodation at the place of previous posting for a period upto 30.06.2019.
  • The officer should be SG IRSME officer with minimum 19 years of Group ‘A’ service or NFSAG/SAG IRSME officer.
  • The officer should have adequate experience of working in Railway Diesel and C&W Depots/ Workshops/PUs.
  • Experience of working in Quality Assurance (QA)/ Inspection in PUs/RDSO shall be preferred.
  • The officer should have also functioned as independent in-charge of a unit (Shed/Division/Office). He should have soft skills like communication skills & expression ability to engage with clients, basic understanding of finance.
  • The officer should have field experience of O&M, passenger carriages and freight Wagon Workshop, Diesel locos.He should also be conversant with maintenance and upkeep of machinery and plant.
  • The officer should also preferably have experience of working in Rolling Stock manufacturing PUs.
  • Applications are to be sent through respective administrative officer (HQ/Board) indicating No Objection,Vigilance/DAR clearance and ACRs for the past 07 years.The applicants are also required to send their CV in the prescribed format (Annexure II) along with the applications.
  • The Ministry of Railways has conveyed their approval for continuance of Railway Officers on deputation on exemption from the rule of immediate absorption to RITES for a period of three years w.e.f. 31.08.2017 vide their letter No. 2008/PL/45/4, dated 09.08.2017.
  • Applications will be scrutinized on the basis of the following parameters on a 100 point scale:(1) Educational Qualification,evaluation of CV, length of service(25 marks),(2) Previous Work Experiences and Domain Knowledge (25 marks),(3)APRs, D&AR and Vigilance record(25 marks),(4) Potential/Overall Suitability of the candidate to requirements 25 marks.
  • The Railway Officer can opt for medical facilities under the Railways or the medical facilities admissible under RITES Rules.Medical facilities under RITES rules are:
  • Rs. 1667/- PM / Rs. 20,000 per year Reimbursement upto 1.3 times of basic pay (Claim basis) for prolonged illness as per Mediclaim policy for Indoor Medical treatment.
  • Reimbursement of furnishing items Rs. 50000/- PA on submission of bills.
  • Reimbursement/Membership One membership for national and one international professional body upto an amount of Rs. 20,000/- PA.
  • Reimbursement on purchase of Mobile phone Cost of cell phone handset (once in every 3 years).
