Educational Qualification: Full Time 4 years’ B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined) /Power Engineering /B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs OR Civil Engineering Full time 4 years BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs.

Electrical Engineers/Power Engineers/Electrical & Electronics Engineers and Civil Engineers/ Construction Engineers intending to join WBSEDCL as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) are required to appear and qualify for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2017).
Only GATE-2017 Score is valid for the recruitment exercise in WBSEDCL under this advertisement. Score from GATE-2016 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid.
