General Condition:

  • Before conclusion of entire recruitment process, no information pertaining to this recruitment, shall be provided on the application submitted under Rajasthan Right to lnformation (High Court and Subordinate Courts) Rules, 2006, and the same could be provided as per rules, only after conclusion of recruitment process. The information shall be provided as per rules, on the application(s) submitted within 06 months from the date of declaration of final result. However, no information shall be provided on the application submitted beyond 06 months from the date of declaration of final result.
  • No candidate shall be allowed to bring/posses/keep with him Cellular Phone, Calculator, Bluetooth or any other electronic/com munication
    device and Purse etc. in the examination centre. Candidates are allowed to bring only pen, pencil, admit card or any other material as specifically
    directed by the Rajasthan HiBh Court in examination room. Centre Su perintendent/Rajasthan High Court shall not be responsible for safety of above gadgets.
  • Every candidate shall himself write answers to the questions in the examination, however, the facility of Scribe will be provided to such
    persons as per existing Rules, who are unable to write the answer at his own. Such facility will not be provided to the persons who temporarily
    or accidentally get disabled.
  • All the candidates shall comply with the instructions issued by the Rajasthan High Court/ Centre Superintendent/ lnvigilator/ Officer authorised by Rajasthan High Court. lf any candidate does not comply the instructions or found using unfair means, action as deemed appropriate by the High Court may be taken including under Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 1992.
  • A candidate who is or has been declared by the Recruiting Authority or the Appointing Authority, as the case may be, Suilty of impersonation or
    of submitting fabricated or tampered with documents or of making statements which are incorrect or false or of suppressing material
    information or using or attempting to use unfair means in the examination or interview or otherwise resortin8 to any other irregular
    or improper means for obtaining admission to the examination or appearance at interview shall, in addition to rendering himself liable tocriminal prosecution, be debarred either permanently or for a specified period,-
  • by the Recruiting Authority or the Appointing Authority, as the case may be, from admission to examination or appearing interview held by the Recruiting Authority for selection of candidates, or
  • by the Government from employment under the Government.
  • No recommendation for recruitment either written or oral other than that required under the “Rules”, shall be taken into consideration. Any
    attempt on the part of a candidate to enlist support directly or indirectly for his candidature by other means shall disqualify him for recru itment.
  • Reservation of vacancies for women including widows and divorcee shall be Horizontal within the category, meaning thereby the
    selected woman will be adjusted in relevant category (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/General) to which she belongs.
  • Reservation to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities shall be Horizontal, meaning thereby the selected Person with Disabilities
    will be adjusted in relevant category (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/ General) to which he belongs, as per the applicable provisions.
  • A Married Woman desirous of getting benefit of reservation in the category of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and More Bacward Classes shall have to produce Caste/Class Certificate issued with the name of her father; Parental Address and Parental income failing which the reservation claimed for shall not be allowed in light of Circular No. F.15(24)DOP/AIl/75 Jaipur dated 24.06.2008 of Department of Personnel (A-ll), Govt. of Rajasthan;
  • ln the case of widow, she will have to furnish a certificate of death of her husband from the competent authority and in case of divorce, she will have to furnish the proof of divorce;
  • Candidates of Ecomincally Weaker Sections shall have to produce Certificate in prescribed format duly issued by the Competent Authority;
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC or MBC shall have to produce caste certificate for claiming benefit of reservation in prescribed
    format duly issued by the competent authority, in case OBC (NCL), not prior to one year from the last date of submission of application form;
  • ln the last Notification issued in 2018, for direct recruitment to the Cadre of District Judge, the age was calculated on the basis of 01.01.2019. For
    this recruitment, age is being calculated on the basis of OL.O7.2O22. Therefore, the candidates, who would have been eligible in respect of his
    age as on 07.O7.2O2O & 01.01.202L, are entitled to apply for the post, if otherwise eligible.

  • The Rajasthan High Court is the High Court of the state of Rajasthan. It was established on 29 August 1949 under the Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949.
  • The seat of the court is at Jodhpur. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 50.
  • There were five High Courts functioning in the various units of the States – at Jodhpur, Jaipur and Bikaner, the High Courts of former Rajasthan and Matsya Union, before unification of the Rajasthan. The Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949 abolished these different jurisdictions and provided for a single High Court for the entire State. The High Court of Rajasthan was founded in 1949 at Jaipur, and was inaugurated by the Rajpramukh, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh on 29 August 1949, later on after complete integration of Rajasthan in 1956 it was moved at Jodhpur with recommendation of satyanarayan rao committee.
  • The first Chief Justice was Kamala Kant Verma. A bench was formed at Jaipur on 31 January 1977 under sub-section (2) of Section 51 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 which was dissolved in 1958. Currently the sanctioned strength of the judges is 50 and actual strength is 34.
  • Currently the Chief Justice of the court is Justice Indrajit Mahanty.Born on 11 November 1960 at Cuttack in the State of Orissa to late Ranjit Mahanty, Barrister at Law and advocate Smt. Shakuntala Mahanty. Studied up to +2 at Mount Hermon School, Darjeeling (West Bengal), thereafter obtained B.Com (Hons.) from Ravenshaw College, Cuttack (Orissa), LL.B. at Campus Law Center, Delhi University, and thereafter LL.M. from the University of Cambridge (England). Enrolled as an advocate with Orissa State Council in 1984, and began legal practice under his father late Br. Ranjit Mahanty till his demise in the year 1989. Thereafter started independent practice in the field of Commercial Law, Arbitration, Taxation, Civil and Criminal, Writs & Service Law before the Civil Court, Orissa High Court and the Supreme Court of India, as well as, conducted few arbitration proceedings at London.
