Qualification:
Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School:
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Suitability (or equivalent)
– OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Qualification (or equivalent) in accordance with NCTE regulations
– OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Suitability (B.El.Ed.)
– OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Qualification (Special Suitability) AND Passed in Assam TET for LPS
Assistant Teacher (UPS):
– Graduate from UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Suitability or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Eligibility) or B.Ed. (Special Qualification) AND passed in Assam TET for UPS
Opening Details:
– Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools: 1750 positions
– Assistant Teacher of LP Schools: 3800 positions
– Total: 5550 positions
