General Information:

  • Online applications are invited in the prescribed format that will be available in the Recruitment Link in the official Website of the Directorate of Employment Services & Manpower Planning (DESMP), Tripura (https://emplovment.tripura.gov.in) with effect from 28/12/2020 to 11/02/2021 from Indian Nationals for filling-up of the vacant posts of Multi Tasking Staffs, Group-D, (category Non-Technical), on fixed-pay basis in various departments of Government of Tripura.
  • Candidates have to submit application through Online Application only. The Board will not entertain any hard copy application, 13eline submission of online application, the candidates arc advised to read the instructions carefully in ‘I low to apply’ segment of the Online Application Portal.
  • Details of Online Application Link will be available on the website of the Directorate of Employment Services & Nlanpower Planning (DESNIP), Tripura (https://employmcnt.tripura.gov.in) w.c.f. 28/12/2020 to 11/02/2021. To apply the candidates have to click on the Recruitment tab in the JRBT link available in the I tome page of the DESNIP website.
  • Candidates will not have to upload any certificates other than passport size photograph and signature.
  • In case of multiple applications, the application with the latest Registration Number shall only be entertained by the Board and fee paid against one Registration Number shall not be adjusted against any other Registration Number or refunded.
  • Since, pre-test verification of document is not done, candidate is required to apply online in her/his own capacity on being satisfied with the terms and conditions of eligibility for Multi Tasking Staffs, Group-D, (category Non-Technical) post. 2020. However, if it is later found that any of the conditions for the eligibility is not fulfilled, the candidature will be cancelled at any stage and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained.
  • Mere issue of Acknowledgement Page/Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that her/his candidature has been finally cleared by the Board.
  • Primary merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in all papers of the written examination to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview. Note: Candidate(s) scoring marks equal to that of the last candidate in the written examination so selected for the interview will also be called for interview.
  • Final merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in all papers of the written examination and interview. In no case, candidates will be called for interview unless they appear in all papers of the written examination.
  • Candidature of the candidate will summarily be rejected if she/he remains absent during certificate verification without further notification.
  • The merit lists/results published on official webpage of Board are purely provisional and for immediate information to the candidates. These cannot be treated as final result, since finalization depends on verification of certificates and other eligibility conditions.
  • Candidates are instructed to bring the Admit Card, black ball point pen and one photo bearing identity card from among the following for appearing in the test: (1) Voter ID (ii) AADHAR Card (iii) Passport (iv)Driving License (v) PAN Card. Carrying bags, books, mobile phone, tab or any other communication devices etc. inside the test venue is strictly prohibited.
  • Changes to this notification (if any), shall be notified separately by JRBT and will also be uploaded in the official webpage of the Board.

  • Employment is the main source of livelihood and self-fulfillment for most women and men. It is critical to the way women and men live and view their lives. A well-nurtured and productive labour-force contributes towards a dynamic economy and equitable society. Employment Exchange which is a unit of National Employment Service (NES) entrusted to provide necessary assistance to Job-seekers by helping them in finding regular Jobs or through self-employment, provide vocational guidance to shape their careers and present Labour Market Information (LMI) for policy planning and research purpose.
  • Before 1957 the Employment Services were controlled by the Government of India. Thereafter as per accepted recommendation of the Training & Employment Services Organization Committee (Shiva Rao Committee), the National Employment Service maintained in joint collaboration between the Government of India and State Governments.
  • The first Employment Exchange in Tripura started functioning at Agartala in the year 1957 with one Assistant Employment Officer and a handful of clerical staff. The jurisdiction of that Exchange was all over the then Union Territory of Tripura, Subsequently , in 1967 with the growth of live register , this only Employment Exchange was raised to the status of Sub-Regional Employment Officer and assisted by one Assistant Employment Officer with the attainment of statehood and creation of two more Districts, namely Tripura North and Tripura South , two District Employment Exchange were opened in the early pary of 1972, 10.05.1972, in two District Head Quarters , Kailashar and Udaipur. To cater the need of rural Job- Seekers, the first phase of net- work of Employment Service in the style of one man Services unit at Block Head Quarters under the name of Employment Information & Assistance Bureaux (E.I.& A.B) began during that period . In the year 1973, 16.07.1973, the erstwhile Directorate of Manpower which started separately was merged with the Employment Exchanges of the State under name and style Directorate of Employment Services & Manpower Planning with one full fledged Director at its head. In the year 1980 (29.02.1980) a Special Employment Exchange for Physically Handicapped persons was opened at Agartala under the Directorate at the instance of Government of India as a centrally sponsored Scheme. In 1987, 03.03.1987 a new Employment Exchange, namely Town Employment Exchange was opened at Dharmanagar bifurcating the District Employment Exchange, Kailashar and this new Employment Exchange covers the Sub-Division of Dharmanagar only. Consequence upon creation of another new District at Dhalai a District Employment Exchange, has been opened at Dhalali District on 18.10.1996.
  • The Employment Service came into existence in India under the stress of postwar demobilization. Towards the end of the Second World War, the need for a machinery which could handle orderly reabsorption of civil life, of a large number of service personnel and war workers who were about to be released as keenly felt. Having regard to the complexity of the problem and in order to ensure uniformity in policies and effective co-ordination of efforts it was considered necessary that the proposed machinery be directed and controlled by the Central Government. In accordance with a scheme that was agreed upon by the Central and State Governments, the Directorate General of Resettlement and Employment (D.G.R.&E) was set up in July 1945 and Employment Exchanges were gradually opened in several parts of the country.
  • Till the end of 1946, Employment Service facilities were restricted to demobilized service personnel and discharged war workers. In 1947,consequent upon the partition of the country, the Employment Exchanges were called upon to deal with the resettlement of a large number of persons who were displaced as a result of partition. In response to popular demands, the scope of the service was gradually extended and by early 1948, Employment Exchanges were thrown open to all categories of applicants.
