General conditions:
- Candidate who is already working in government service will intimate his/her Employer.
- Applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their present employer
before joining Institute. - Employees of Institute will be governed by New Pension Scheme as per provision contained in Ministry of Finance,
Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division). Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12.2003. - Residential accommodation to faculty staff appointed at Institute would be provided as per rules and subject to
availability. H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Vijaypur, Jammu
will be provided. - Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- Prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- Appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
- He / She is expected to conform to rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to institute employees.
- Candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- Reservation will be as per Government of India rules / guidelines.
- In case any information given or declaration by candidate is found to be false or if candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from service and any action taken as deemed fit by appointing authority.
- Decision of competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be
entertained in this regard. - Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.

- Extension for date of joining will not be granted except in exceptional circumstances, decided by AIIMS
administration. - Period of probation is two years.
- All disputes will be subject to jurisdictions of Court of Law in Rishikesh.
- Application Process: Applications are invited from Indian Nationals in prescribed form through online mode only for various faculty posts in AIIMS Vijaypur (Jammu). On-line filling up of application form will start on 29.02.2020 (10 AM) and will automatically close on 07.04.2020 (23:59). No Documents including online application form is required to be sent, however, all applicants are advised to keep a copy of online application form with them, along with proof of payment (a Copy of online payment receipt) for their record.

- AIIMS, Rishikesh is one of the SIX AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.
- These institutions are being established by an Act of Parliament on the lines of the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi which imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches and related fields, along with nursing and paramedical training. To bring together in one place, educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all branches of health care activity.
- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh came into exsistence as an institute of National Importance through an Act of parliament. The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2012,was passed in the Lok Sabha on August 30,2012 and in Rajya Sabha on September 4, 2012.This Act enabled the Rishikesh AIIMS to be an autonomous body on the lines of the existing AIIMS, Delhi.
- Official inauguration ceremony for Medical college of AIIMS,Rishikesh was held done on 20.09.2012. Subsequently MBBS classes with batch of 50 students were started on 21.09.2012.
- The government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi with the objective of correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable and reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education creating a critical mass of doctors and conduct research in the country relevant to the area Main mission is to establish a centre of excellence in medical education, training, health care and research imbued with scientific culture, compassion for the sick and commitment to serve the under served.
