Applications are invited for selection of Technician Apprentices (Diploma in Engg.) in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), for the training year 2022-2023, under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its subsequent amendments, from candidates who acquired Diploma from a State Technical Board coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry).

How to Apply to VSSC
Candidates Who have acquired Diploma before April 2020, those pursuing final year diploma, result awaiting candidates or candidates pursuing B.E/B.Tech, are not eligible to apply.Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Upper age limit is 30 years as on 30.11.2022 for General candidates. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST. Additional 10 years relaxation for PWBD candidates in their respective categories). Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD candidates is applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
Candidates who qualified from State Boards coming under Southern region of BOAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) will be given priority. Candidates from other Boards will be considered only in case there is shortage of applications as mentioned above in any discipline.

Candidates pursuing sandwich course, private diploma, diploma through correspondence/distance education, short term/certificate courses, diploma in disciplines other than those listed above etc. are not eligible to apply.
Candidates have to register online in the MHRD NATS portal, through the website www.mhrdnats.gov.in prior to the Centralised selection drive. Upon registration the candidates will obtain a Registration No. and the printout of the registration needs to be shown at the venue.
The induction of apprentices against the 2022-23 vacant training positions will be made strictly based on the position in the panel subject to availability of vacancies and panel validity.
