UNION TERRITORY ADMINISTRATION OF Daman & Diu
POLICE DEPARTMENT, Daman
On-line Applications are invited for filling up the post of Police SubInspector in the Administration of Daman & Diu as under:
1. Name of the Post : – Police Sub-Inspector Group ‘B'(Non-Ministerial, NonGazetted)
2. No. of Posts : – Total -14 (Fourteen) – (As per 33% reservation, 04 seats reserved for women)
3. Pay Scale : – PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-
ST-02 OBC-02 UR-06
SC-01 * OBC-01 * UR-02* ( * seats reserved for women)
4. Essential q ualification: –
(a)Educational qualification: –
(i)Graduate from a recognized University with 55% of marks.
(ii)Certificate of computer of at least 3 months.
How to apply for 14 Police Sub-Inspector Vacancy in Daman and Diu Police
The candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC shall be required to furnish certificate issued by Competent Authority. Any Indian citizen can apply for the post. However, applicant who is Domicile of Daman & Diu shall be given weightage in accordance with Daman & Diu Circular O.M. No.1-1-87-CS/PF/2823 dated 16-12-2013 subject to his/her submitting Domicile Certificate in his/her own name issued by the Mamlatdar, of U.T. of Daman & Diu.
Instructions :-
The eligible Candidate shall produce their original documents during Physical Endurance Test. The Final Selected Candidates may have to undergo training in Modus Operandi, Fingerprint, Bomb detection & Disposal and Band.
Last date of filling on – line application form is on 20/05/2016 till 5 pm. It is hereby clarified that those who have already filled their application for posts of S.I. (Male) as per the advertisement issued on 12/03 / 2016 , no. DMN/Police/Recruitment/PSI/2016/230, dt. 11/03 /2016. (the last date for which was 15/04/2016) need not fill up the application again. Those applications will be accepted as per the already given norms.
