• Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the various NonTeaching positions. For further details, please visit the Institute website www.mnit.ac.in
• The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of applications failing which their application will be rejected. The Institute will retain online applications data and hard copy of application forms for non-shortlisted candidates only for three months after completion of recruitment process.
• Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post in the prescribed manner and separate application must be submitted for each post.
• Applications which are not in prescribed form / without relevant supporting enclosures may be out rightly rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
• Request for individual acknowledgements shall not be considered. Those who want acknowledgement may send their applications by Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier.
• Candidates should indicate two references of eminent persons in the field/ profession.
• The Scrutiny Committee of the Institute has the right to set higher norms than minimum prescribed in the Advertisement. The decision of the Institute,related to all matters pertaining to the recruitment shall be final and a binding on the applicants. Any dispute arising during the document verification stage will be dealt by the competent authority and the decision of the same shall be final.
• The date for determining eligibility of candidates in every respect i.e. qualifications, experience and preferred age limit etc. shall be considered as
  on 5th March, 2021, i.e. the last date of the application.
• In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of offer of appointment, the Institute reserves the right to withdraw/cancel/modify any communication made to the candidates.
• No Travelling Allowance (TA) shall be paid to outstation candidates for attending selection process.
• Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee candidates being called for Written Test/Trade Test. The Institute reserves the right to restrict number of candidates to be called for Written Test/Trade Test by short-listing the applications on the basis of higher benchmark for short-listing criteria as may be decided by the Institute, including Written Test/Trade Test.
• The applicant would be admitted to the Written Test/Trade Test on the basis of the information furnished by them in their application form. They are
  therefore advised to ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions before applying. In case it is found at a later stage that the information furnished by an applicant is false or an applicant does not fulfill any other eligibility conditions, the candidature of such applicant would be cancelled and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained. Call for the Written Test/Trade Test will not confer any right for appointment. Appointment will be solely subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions.
• No correspondence will be entertained from candidates not considered for Written Test/Trade Test.
• In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to the appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
• Legal disputes, if any, with Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Jaipur, Rajasthan only.

• Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT or NIT Jaipur) is a public technical university located in Jaipur, India with emphasis on science, engineering and management.
• Formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) Jaipur, it assumed its present name in 2002 and was recognised as an Institute of National Importance in 2007. It was founded in 1963 with only 2 engineering branches and now comprises fourteen departments, a school of management and allied centres.The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India and is governed by a Senate as per NIT Statutes.
• The institute was established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC), as a joint venture of the government of India and Government of Rajasthan.It was named after Madan Mohan Malaviya. V.G. Garde was its first principal.[citation needed] The institute originally functioned from a temporary campus at Pilani and admitted 30 students each in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.[citation needed] The college moved to the present campus to Jaipur in 1965.
• It used to offer five-year Bachelor of Engineering programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Metallurgical Engineering. The duration of the B.E. Degree Course was changed to four years from year 1983.
• The institute was upgraded to a National Institute of Technology and was declared a Deemed University on 26 June 2002 and since then the institute started offering Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree instead of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree.
• On 15 August 2007, MNIT and all other NITs were declared Institutes of National Importance by the government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.The institute is now under The Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi. It has been selected to participate in the Technical Education Quality Improvement Program of the government of India and the World Bank.
