About Us:

Vacancy Notice School Assistants (Special Education) Vacancy – Commissioner of School Education,Andhra Pradesh

  • In 2018, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GoI) issued “Implementing personalized adaptive learning (PAL) at schools: A guidance note for states”, a Bluebook to advise states to adopt Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) solutions. This was done, to ameliorate poor student learning outcomes in the country, given that there is significant existing evidence about the effectiveness of PAL solutions to improve student learning outcomes.PAL emphasizes the tailoring of teaching instruction to the learning levels of each child and leads the child towards his or her unique learning trajectory. Rather than testing the child’s knowledge on a broad topic, this pedagogic approach involves diagnosing the child’s comprehension for specific basic competencies. Once diagnosed, the child is led toward his or her unique learning trajectory through a finite number of carefully designed questions, remediating with appropriate content where needed.
  • The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) wants to be the first state to adopt PAL at scale and generate knowledge on how to accelerate student learning outcomes across a large cohort of school-going children. PAL labs will be scaled-up to up to 2,643 schools spread across 13 districts in the academic year 2019-20 in a phased manner.
  • A proof of concept (PoC) phase for the empanelment of effective PAL solutions is currently ongoing; post a competitive selection process, three PAL vendors have been selected to participate in the PoC and will be empanelled depending on their performance in the PoC. The successful bidder through this tender will have to closely work with the empanelled PAL software vendors, to run their PAL solutions in the school’s PAL lab set up by the successful bidder.
  • GoAP has thus decided to conduct a bid (Technical offer and Commercial offer) to invite eligible and reputed system integrators for a period of one year with three-year AMC to – (1) Supply and commission hardware (after integration with PAL software) in PAL labs in up to 2643 schools (2) Provide field management support including FMS managers, FMS staff, and centralized helpdesk to ensure smooth functioning of the hardware and software
  • Selection of Empanelment System Integrator to Design, Develop, Integrate, Maintain and Enhance Application & Services for School Education Department as a part of Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL).
  • On behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh (“GoAP”), the Commissioner of School Education, invites eligible and competent Proposers to submit their qualification, technical and commercial proposals for the selection to design, develop, maintain and enhance software application/service, in accordance with conditions and manner prescribed in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and other Proposal Documents issued by the School Education Department which is available on its website (https://schooledu.ap.gov.in/DSE/). The Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason.
