1. Educational Qualifications

  • Completed at least 2 years of study (for 4-year programs) or 3 years (for 5-year integrated programs).
  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) in all semesters/exams cleared so far.
  • Prior research experience or published papers.
  • Participation in national/state-level technical competitions.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques relevant to the applied discipline.
Postgraduate (PG) Students
  • Enrolled in a full-time M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./M.Pharm. program from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university.
  • Completed at least 1 semester of the PG program.
  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in graduation and PG coursework.
  • Thesis or dissertation work aligned with DRDO’s research areas.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of defense-related technologies or biomedical applications.

2. Age Limit

The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years as of the closing date of the application (April 30, 2026). Age relaxations are applicable as follows:

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms
