Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process
The selection process for the Assistant Surgeon General position will involve the following stages:
* Computer Based Test: 100 objective-type questions (Medical Science, UG level).
* Tamil Eligibility Test SSLC standard.
* Incentive marks for COVID-19 duty in government institutions, as per rules.
Selection will be strictly based on merit/rank (marks + incentives) and reservation. Candidates who clear the initial screening will be called for certificate/document verification and shortlisted candidates will appear for an oral interview.
