Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the CAU Professor, Chairman and Other Posts, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

* Director of Instruction: A doctorate degree in any branch of agricultural science/horticulture/home science/agricultural engineering/fisheries/veterinary sciences including relevant basic sciences.
* Dean: A doctorate degree in the relevant subject including relevant basics sciences.
* Professor / Chairman: A doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences. For Veterinary Sciences disciplines, a B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale is required. A master’s degree in relevant discipline of Vety. Science with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale is also acceptable.
* Associate Professor: A doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences.
* Assistant Professor: A master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. A Ph.D. in relevant subject with published research papers in scientific journals is also preferred.
The maximum age limit for the Assistant Professor position is 40 years, while the Associate Professor and Professor positions have a maximum age limit of 50 years and below 55 years, respectively.
