Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective type screening test
- Mains Examination: Descriptive test for qualified candidates
Exam Pattern
Prelims Exam
- 150 multiple-choice questions (150 marks)
- General Studies (30 questions) + Concerned Subject (120 questions)
- 2 hours duration
- Negative marking: 0.33 marks per wrong answer
Mains Exam
- Descriptive type examination
- 20 questions (10 short answer + 10 long answer)
- 200 total marks (80 + 120)
- 3 hours duration
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- (Pay Level 7) along with allowances like DA and HRA.
Approximate gross pay: Rs. 49,934/-
