Online applications are invited for Direct Recruitment from eligible candidates for filling up the post Dy.Sup(Material) on regular basis in APSRTC

1. Dy.Superintendent (Material) : 76 Posts
Age : 25 years as on 01.07.2011
Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the DTE of Government of A.P, Distant mode equivalent qualification approved by AICTE or Graduate from any University Recognized by UGC b) 1 year Diploma in Material Management / Stores Management recognized by Department of HRD, Government of India or Recognized University.

Fee : Rs. 400/- (Application Fee – Rs. 200 + Exam Fee Rs. 200) , Rs. 200 (Application Fee) for BC / SC / ST / EXSER /Departmental candidates

General Instructions:
1.Applications are invited On-line through APSRTC WEBSITE www.apsrtc.gov.in and http://apsrtc.cgg.gov.in for Direct Recruitment from eligible candidates for filling up 76 vacancies of Dy.Sup(Material) on regular basis in APSRTC.

2.The desirous eligible candidates may apply ON-LINE only after satisfying themselves with the eligibility and terms and conditions of this recruitment. Departmental candidates too have to apply ONLINE only. Applications submitted other than ON LINE will not be entertained.

3. a) Must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Technical Education of Government of A.P, Distant mode equivalent qualification approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education).

4. Graduate from any University Recognized by University Grants Commission. )Must posses one year Diploma in Material Management/ Stores Management recognized by Department of HRD, Government of India or Recognized University.

5. .AGE: Must not be above 25 years of age as on 01.07.2011. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST / BC candidates. Relaxation by 3 years for Ex-servicemen in addition to the length of service rendered in Defence services subject to Maximum 45 years

The origin of tdates back to June1932, when it was first established as NSR-RTD (Nizam State Rail & Road Transport Department), a wing of Nizam State Railway in the erstwhile Hyderabad State, with 27 buses and 166 employees. During the past 77 years, it has registered a steady growth from 27 to 22311 buses with 767 bus stations, 210 Depots and 1, 880 bus shelters. The Corporation’s buses cover 82.28 lakhs KMs. and carry 152.10 lakhs people to their destinations every day. They connect 23,388 villages to all major towns and cities in A.P which constitutes 95% of Road Transport. t operates to City and Mofussil areas. The Corporation’s buses also ply to important towns and cities in the neighboring States of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Orissa and Chattisgarh. The entire network is under the administrative control of 23 Regional Managers in 7 Zones. Zonal Head Quarters are at Hyderabad. t under the present name was established on 11th January 1958 in pursuance of the Road Transport Corporations Act 1950.is committed to provide consistently high quality of services and to continuously improve the services through a process of teamwork for the utmost satisfaction of the passengers and to attain a position of pre-eminence in the Bus Transport sector.To provide efficient, effective, ethical management of the business.
