Technician.

1 Application not in the prescribed Performa as appended below OR incomplete (without photograph also) applications OR unsigned applications OR applications received after the last date of the receipt of applications OR without required enclosures are liable to be rejected and no reason of rejection will be communicated.
2 The applications not in accordance with the above mentioned instructions are liable to be rejected.
13 The candidates already in Govt. Service / ESI Corporation must specifically mention the details of employment and should submit their application through Proper Channel. However, they may sent an advance copy of their application alongwith Demand Draft, other certificates and testimonial so as to reach this office on or before the last stipulated date for receipt of applications.
4 Mere submission of application does not confer any right on the candidates to be called for examination or interview.
5 No interim correspondence / enquiry will be entertained.
6 Last date of receipt of application is 31st March 2011 up to 5.30 P.M. In respect of candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahul & Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of applications is 07th April 2011 The benefit of extended time will be available only in respect of applications received by post from the above mentioned areas/regions. However the crucial date for determining the eligibility of the candidates will be 31st March 2011 ESI Corporation will not be responsible for postal delays.
7 No TA shall be payable to any candidate including SC/ST candidates for appearing in the written examination. However, TA shall be paid to SC/ST unemployed candidates for appearing in interview as per Govt. of India orders.
8 Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

About the organization:
The promulgation of Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 envisaged an integrated need based social insurance scheme that would protect the interest of workers in contingencies such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent physical disablement, death due to employment injury resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity. the Act also guarantees reasonably good medical care to workers and their immediate dependants. Following the promulgation of the ESI Act the Central Govt. set up the ESI Corporation to administer the Scheme. The Scheme, thereafter was first implemented at Kanpur and Delhi on 24th February 1952. The Act further absolved the employers of their obligations under the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 and Workmen’s Compensation Act 1923. The benefit provided to the employees under the Act are also in conformity with ILO conventions.
