Applications are invited to filling up the following vacant Posts:

Sr. Lecturer-Cum- Sr. Instructor
Qualification: Degree/3 year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management/State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University. The candidate must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in degree/diploma in Hotel Management.
Experience: At least 5 years experience as Lecturer-cum-Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT. OR At least 12 years experience in teaching and /or hotel industry including minimum 5 years teaching experience as Lecturer-cum-Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University. OR At least 12 years of experience in teaching and /or hotel Industry including 5 years teaching experience as Lecturer-cum-Instructor in Food Craft Institute affiliated to NCHMCT. OR At least 12 years Hotel Industry experience including minimum 5 years in supervisory capacity in 3 star/ heritage or above category approved hotel.
Pay Scale: 15600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay -5400
Age: 40 years.

Lecturer-cum-Instructor
Qualification:  Degree/3 year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management/State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University. The candidate must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in degree/diploma in Hotel Management.

Experience: Atleast 5 years of experience as Asstt. Lecturer-cum-Asstt. Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology; OR Atleast 7 years of experience in teaching and/or hotel industry including 5 years teaching experience as Asstt. Lecturer-cum-Asstt. Instructor in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University; OR Atleast 7 years of experience in teaching and/or hotel industry including 5 years teaching experience as Asstt. Lecturer-cum-Asstt. Instructor in a Food Craft Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology; OR Atleast 7 years Hotel industry experience including minimum 3 years in Supervisory capacity in 3 star/Heritage or above category approved hotel.
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 Grade Pay- 4600
Age: 35 years.

P.A. to Principal
Qualification: Graduation  from recognised University, Speed of 100 and 40 words per minute in Shorthand and Typewriting respectively with three years experience in the line and knowledge of Computers.
Desirable: Experience in Administrative and Accounts matters.
Pay Scale: 5200-20200 Grade Pay- 2800
Age: 30 years

Pay Scale: 5200-20200  Grade Pay- 2400

Stenographer
Qualification: Graduation with minimum speed of 80 and 40 words per minute in English Shorthand and Typing respectively.
Desirable: Experience in Administrative and Accounts matters.
Pay Scale: 5200-20200 Grade Pay- 2400
Age: 30 years

General Instructions:
1. Those candidates who are working in Govt./ Semi. Govt./ Quasi Govt. / Autonomous body should apply through proper channel along with copies of last three years ACRs.

2. The above posts carry usual allowance as admissible under Central Govt. The Post is Non-Pensionable but the New Pension Scheme as per rules be applicable. However, all employees who entered into Central Govt. or in the Services of an autonomous body set up by Central Govt.

3. who were governed by old pension scheme under CCS (Pension), 1972 will continue to be governed by same pension scheme and same rules, for the purpose of counting their past service under the said rules if such employees submit technical resignation

Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition ( IHMCT&AN), Hajipur has come into existence in the year 1997 after upgradation of earlier Food Craft Institute, Patna (Society) which was set up in 1982 by Department of Tourism under Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Food Craft Institute was managed by the Govt. of India till 1987 and onwards 1987 it was handed over to Govt. of Bihar , for further operation. Food Craft Institute was a registered Society under the Society Registration Act. (1860)Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition ( IHMCT&AN), Hajipur is an autonomous body and is a Registered Society ( Reg. no. 109/79-80) under the Society Registration Act ( 1860) .Its affairs are looked after by Board of Governors. The institute like rest of the 28 institutes in the country is jointly sponsored by the Government of India (under Ministry of Tourism) and the Govt. of Bihar ( under Department of Tourism) .IHM , Hajipur is academically Affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Noida
