Assistant Central Intelligence Officer – Grade – II / Executive Examination – 2012
On-line applications are invited for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II / Executive, General Central Service, Group–C (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India :
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) : 750 posts (UR-80, OBC-334, SC-225, ST – 111) in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-, Age : 27 years as on 19/08/2012, Qualification : Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- (SC/ST/ Women candidates are exempted) only through State Bank of India Challan (Cash deposit) or on-line account with State Bank of India (Internet Banking) or through ATM-cum-Debit card of State Bank of India.
How to Apply : Apply Online at MHA Applications should be submitted only throughON-LINE registration by logging on to Applications will not be accepted through any other mode. Wronginformation in any column may lead to the application gettingrejected altogether.On submission and acceptance of application, the system willgenerate a unique Registration ID and it will appear on theRegistration Slip generated on the system. An email will also be sentto the email ID (provided by the candidate) in this regard whereinthe registration ID will also be displayed.
(i) Candidates must ensure before applying for the postthat he/she is eligible for the post in terms of age,educational qualification etc.
(ii) The admission to the written examination is provisionalsubject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions asmentioned above.
(iii) Candidates are advised to furnish correct informationregarding their age, educational qualification andcaste/category (i.e. SC/ST/OBC) in the applicationform and none of the copies of the certificates ofage, educational qualifications and caste/categoryetc.
(iv) SC/ST/OBC candidates should fill up their respectivecategory in the application form carefully.
(v) Candidates claiming benefit of OBC Category mustensure that they belong to OBC Category as per thenotification of Central Government meant forappointment to the posts under the Government ofIndia (not as per the notification of StateGovernment) and do not belong to the creamy layer.
