General Instructions:
(i) Before applying for any post, the candidates shouldensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility norms. Thecandidates should have the requisiteEducational/Technical qualifications from the recognisedUniversity/institution as on the closing date ofsubmission of the application . Those awaiting results ofthe final exams need not apply.
(ii) The candidates who have been debarred for life from allRRB/RRC examinations or the candidates who have beendebarred for a specified period which is not yetcompleted, need not apply in response to thisemployment notice. There candidature will be rejectedduring any stage of recruitment as and when detected.
(iii) Application should be filled by the candidates either inHindi or English in his/her own handwriting and mustsign as well as put his/her Thumb impression at theprescribed space. The signature must be in runninghand and not in block capital or disjoined letters. Thesignatures in the application form, information sheet,Answer sheet, Question Booklet and at the time ofdocument verification should be identical.
(iv) Candidate should note that the Date of Birth as recordedin the Matriculation /High School Examination Certificateor an equivalent certificate as on the date of submissionof the applications will only be accepted.
(v) Dates of the Written examination and results arepublished in the Employment News/Rojgar samachar andlocal Dailies newspapers. They are also given
(vi) Selected candidates will require to under-go trainingwhere ever prescribed for the posts.
(vii) Emoluments on initial appointment will be minimum payof the pay band plus Grade Pay plus other allowancesadmissible at the relevant time. During the trainingperiod only stipend will be paid as applicable as per rules.Candidates may have to give security deposit and executeindemnity Bond where ever necessary.
(viii) Persons with Disability are exempted from paying anyExamination fees.
(ix) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Community shouldsubmit their Caste Certificate in the prescribed format asper Annexure ‘A’ & ‘B’, applicable under Government Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where thecandidate or his family resides.
(x) Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by MedicalBoard attached to the Special Employment Exchange orVocational Rehabilitation Centre or by Civil Surgeonwhere such Board does not exist should be enclosed inthe prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘C’.

Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their Letter No. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 have delegated the powers of recruitment to Group ‘D’ posts to the General Managers. In pursuance to this, Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in Central Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group ‘D’ posts from open market.RRC-CR is headed by the Dy. Chief Personnel Officer (Recruitment),  assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment) and other staff.The decision of this office in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of theapplications, penalty for false information, selection and allotment of place of posting tothe selected candidates will be final and binding on the candidates, and no enquiry orcorrespondence will be entertained in this connection.
