The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites application from Indian Citizens for the posts of Forest Rangers on prescribed OMR application forms only which are available at the select Post Offices/ Sub Offices in the districts of Uttarakhand  on or before 03/04/2012 only :

Forest Ranger : 60 posts (UR-38, SC-11,OBC-11) , Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-, Age : 21-35 years as on 01/07/2012 and relaxation in age as per rules.

Application Form Fee :  Rs.220/- (Rs.130/- for SC/ST/PH candidates of Uttarakhand) for preliminary examination for the cost of application form Rs.150 + postal department fee Rs.10 + postage stamp Rs.30/-

About the organization:
he State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the four Members. The working of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is regulated by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule-2007{Framed by the Lok sewa Ayog Uttarakhand under section 11 of U.P.
