IISCO Steel Plant at under SAIL invites application for the following posts in a Special Drive belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories only :
1. Operator cum Technician (Trainee) : 143 Posts (SC-22, ST-26,OBC-95, Ex.SM-14, PWD-16) in various disciplines, Pay Scale : Rs. 9160-3%-13150
2. Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) : 53 Posts (SC-22, ST-12,OBC-19, Ex.SM-5, PWD-4) in various disciplines, Pay Scale : Rs. 8630-3%-12080
Application Fee : Rs. 250/- 1st post and Rs.150/- for 2nd post (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD) to be deposited in any SBI branch through a payment challan.
How to Apply : Apply Online at SAILEligible and interested candidates are required to apply on-line only through SAIL Website www.sail.co.in Before registering the application on the website, the candidate should possess: Valid e-mail ID Scanned passport size colour photo and signature. The online registration would be open from 14.04.2012 to 14.05.2012. All information regarding examination schedule / admit card / interviews etc. shall be provided through Speed Post / Registered Post / e-mailkarnataka government jobs
a) Candidates not satisfying the requisite eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement need not apply.
b) Candidates will have to appear for the written test and medical examination at their own cost.
c) The date, time and venue of written test and interview will be intimated in due course to all the eligible candidates only.
d) Candidates sponsored by the Local Employment Exchange will also have to apply on line in the prescribed application format along with the requisite fees as indicated in the advertisement failing which they will not be considered for the selection process.
e) Candidates paying the requisite fee and fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria will be called for the written test.
f) Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their passing the Company’s Medical Examination as per standards laid down under SAIL’s Medical and Health Policy.
g) If it is found any stage of selection process that the candidate is not fulfilling the eligibility conditions or has given false information his candidature will be rejected forthwith.
h) Candidates working Government/ Semi Government / Public undertakings will have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of interview.
i) The candidates will be required to submit documentary proof of qualification, age etc. at the time of interview. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will also have to submit original caste certificate issued by the prescribed authority at the time of interview for verification.
j) Candidates should give clear and complete postal address, mobile numbers and e-mail ID for correspondence. IISCO Steel Plant will not be responsible for any postal delay/wrong delivery & non-delivery of any communication at any stage of the recruitment process.
k) Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination certificate on the date of submission of application shall be accepted and no subsequent request for its change will be considered.
