About the organization:
Recession has blanketed the world with pitch darkness in such a way that even our shadow is of no help. With the entry of Multinational companies in India after she adopted the policy of liberalization and globalization saw a great deal of development particularly in the employment sector. An international exposure, cozy work environment,  high paid salaries with loads of perks, shifts with extra time, cabs for pick and drop all were the melodrama happening across the major cities where the MNC’s has comfortably placed themselves. The recession hit the world with a great bang in which MNC had no projects to work with resulting in cut down of salary and perks then slowly in the reduction of staff and in major cases close down of operation in India.  It created a lot of agony and mental depression in the minds of the younger generation. According to the recent survey conducted by the Bank Recruitment Board, there is a sharp increase in the number of applicants for the post of Probationary Officers. In the recent years, even the professional degree holder from science and engineering field are applying for the coveted post in the Banking sector. It is mainly due to the sudden unemployment crisis and instability of job in the Multinational companies. Are you a final year student who is about to write the final semester examination? Or are you a fresh graduate who has just been out of the campus with certificates. Have a craze for job to settle with? In India, there are lakhs of fresh graduates passing out from different Universities and institutions every academic year. This creates a hectic competition spirit in the employment sector for limited number of vacancies arising in the job market. One of the peculiar aspects of the multinational companies and private limited companies tricky and hidden human resource policies is that they never reveal the number of vacancies in their advertisement or recruitment rallies. They just give a call for jobs, treat a lakhs of application for may be just a post or few post or create a data base of highly qualified eligible professional graduate. Their recruitment procedure is also time consuming with many rounds such as screening, initial discussion, first round, second round, third round etc. In each round many are eliminated through the methods of objective test, descriptive test, interviews and group discussion. Only some MNC’s or private companies adopt the methodology of intimating the success or failure in each round. This normally creates a mental stress and strain to the jobseekers and their family members. But in the Government recruitment procedure, the entire process from the initial stage to the final appointment offer all aspects are smooth and transparent. The number of vacancies are clearly mentioned, the educational qualification and age limit eligible for the said position or post are mentioned in the notification. The selection procedure are by the method of hardly three or four stages only that is a preliminary objective type of written examination or  preliminary objective type along with descriptive written examination or  preliminary descriptive written examination is the first stage. The second stage consists of main descriptive examination. Interview is the third stage and some cases group discussion round is also included as the fourth stage. One of the best aspects of the Government recruitment procedure is that it comes out with all India notification where all eligible candidates have a right to apply. There is no elimination of application on any grounds and each and every applicant gets the call letter for the first stage of recruitment process that is the written examination. A list of passing out candidates is announced for the next stage within a stipulated period. The competition becomes limited as the Government call for the next stage just 14 times of the numbers of vacancies. In the final interview or interview with group discussion round, 2 or 4 times of the number of vacancies are called for. The passed out candidates gets the offer letter or appointment letter after the submission of the original certificates and inducted into the training programs to make them fit for the job. This naturally brings in the confidence and competition spirit among the candidates and their parents to aim for Government jobs. Among the Government jobs, the Civil Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for coveted Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service and other related service is most sorts after by the graduates and the post graduates of all the discipline. The next preferred Government job is the Banking sector from the post of probationary officers to the post of General Managers. The Government at the central and the state level has various departments under their ministries so the candidates with any stream or discipline get
