General Instructions:
1. Man and materials have symbiotic relationship since yore. Materials are probably more deep rooted in our culture and everyday life than most of us would realize. Nano science and technology has emerged as a field of immense promises and potentials.
2. In today’s life it touches every arena right from food and medicine to attire and buildings. During the years to come, our world would run around nonmaterial’s the way this field has been witnessing an exponential pace of development both in terms of synthesis of new materials as well as their application in almost every field.

3. Along with this fast pace of growth, our state deserves a better participation. Struck by severe problem of unemployment and shrunk natural resource after being hived off from Jharkhand, generation of new sustainable resources has become a knocking problem for the people of Bihar and its government alike. There is an urgent need to take up new emerging green technologies in order to keep pace with the changing times.
4. Nanotechnology not only ensures a better economic echelon for our state rather it can also bring a drastic change in socio- economic scenario within a decade mainly because it does not require much intricate scientific expertise to prepare nonmaterial’s, protocols are free from environmental hazards and above all once a brigade of trained personnel/resource personnel is ready, it can lead to a cottage industry revolution in tune of Japan.

5. Aryabhatt Knowledge University plans to work in multifaceted manner. Along with our regular pursuits of quality teaching (at Postgraduate level ) and research, we would like totrain the science and/or technology graduates in the area of nanotechnology with an emphasis on synthesis of nonmaterial’s, who would act themselves as resource personnel.
6. A strong institution institution and institution- industry interface will be developed in order to promote not only to the industrial need based research rather to develop a better and time dependent economic cushion of the university which could lead to self dependence in due course. A regular institutional interaction would keep this university in normal scientific/technical momentum.

The objective of the university is to promote the professional education infrastructure to meet the national standard through well advanced course, infrastructure and quality faculty. Bihar lacks in the infrastructure both in the terms of number of institutions and the quality of education.
