General Instructions:
1. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year.
2. Candidates working in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Undertaking must apply through proper channel. In the event the application is not sent through proper channel, the candidate would be required to produce the NOC from his employer,
3. Selected candidates will be required to serve in any office of the Corporation or its subsidiaries or successor, and not necessarily at the places mentioned against the posts above.
4. A Candidate’s single application should be sent in one envelope. Applications by a single candidate for more than one post must be sent in separately-marked envelopes. Multiple applications in one envelope shall be rejected and no correspondence in this respect shall be entertained.
5. Incomplete applications, applications not sent in prescribed format, applications not conforming to the eligibility requirements, applications received after the last date prescribed, unsigned applications and applications sent without relevant grade-equivalency documents (as applicable) will be summarily rejected.
6. The vacancies shown above are provisional and liable to be increased or decreased or may even be reduced to nil. STC is not liable to compensate the applicant for the consequential damages if any.
7. Applicants should give clear and complete postal address, email-id and phone number for correspondence. STC will not be responsible for any postal delay / wrong delivery / non-delivery of any communication at any stage of the recruitment process. 8. Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the interview. In case of overwhelming response, STC reserves the right to shortlist the candidates by fixing revised eligibility criteria. Other things being equal, eligible candidates with additional relevant professional qualification, experience etc. will be given preference.
9. Decision of Management to call the candidates for selection shall be final. Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant will disqualify his/her candidature.
10. Those who have qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should produce certificate from the concerned University certifying that the said Degree/ Diploma is equivalent to the particular Degree of the University. Applications without the authoritative equivalency certificate as said above will not be considered.
11. The Corporation reserves the right to offer a lower post to a candidate who might have applied for a higher post in case the selection committee doesn’t find the candidate suitable to the post he/she applied for.
