EdCIL (India) Limited is a profit making Mini Ratna PSE under Ministry of Human Resource Development and a significant PSU player in the field of educational consultancy. Over the years, it has emerged as a reputed global consultancy and project executing agency.
EdCIL intends to engage competent retired professionals as Advisers in HR, Finance, IT/ICT & Civil disciplines on contractual basis. The professionals should have experience in relevant areas in PSUs/ Government and are well acquainted with Government / CPSE processes and rules in the respective discipline.
The Contract is for an initial period of 06 months on a consolidated fee/ remuneration of Rs. 71,500/- (inclusive of all) per month. In case of candidates drawing pension, the remuneration will not exceed the ceiling of Last Pay (Basic Pay + Grade Pay) + DA drawn minus Basic Pension. The period may be extended following relevant extant rules based on the performance of the candidate.

The age should not be above 62 years as on 31.07.2015. The eligibility criteria are as under:-

1. Name of the post: Adviser (Human Resources)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with PG Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations (Two years) or MBA with specialization in Personnel Management or equivalent or Ph.D in relevant area from a recognised university/ Institute.
Experience: Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in Managerial Cadre (E-VI) in any PSUs or of the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director or above in the Govt. departments specifically handling Personnel/ Administration/ Industrial Relations.

2.Name of the post:  Adviser (Finance) (One Post)
Qualification: ACA / AICWA or MBA (Finance) or equivalent or Ph.D in relevant area
Desirable: CFA/ACS Or Retired IA & CAS, IRAS, IDAS personnel retired at the rank of Director/ Deputy Secretary
Experience: Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in Managerial Cadre (E-VI) in any PSUs or of the rank of Deputy Secretary /Director    or above in the Govt. departments directly
dealing in Finance and Accounts, Budgeting, Cost Control, Internal Audit, taxation matters, etc.

3. Name of the post: Adviser (IT/ICT) (One Post)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. (Computer Science or IT), MCA or equivalent or Ph.D in relevant area
Experience: Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in Managerial Cadre (E-VI) in any PSUs or of the rank of Deputy Secretary/ Director or
above in the Govt. departments directly dealing with project planning and execution in ICT.

4.Name of the post:  Adviser (Civil) (One Post)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent or Ph.D in relevant area
Experience: Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in Managerial Cadre (E-VI) in any PSUs or of the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director or above in the Govt. departments specifically dealing in planning and execution of large Civil Construction projects.
