CSIR – CMERI Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery, established in 1965 (an extension centre of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur) under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The present priority areas of research of the institute are: Mechanical Design, Conservation & Precision Farming Machinery, Biofuels.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for engagement as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistants (PA) under PCRA sponsored project (GAP – 170812 – Design & Development of Roof-top Biogas Plant on Solid State Fermentation using Kitchen Waste).

Emoluments:
SRF: Rs. 18000/- pm plus HRA as applicable JRF : Rs. 16000/- plus HRA as applicable PA : Rs. 10000/- (Consolidated)
Age Limit: SRF/ JRF / PA – 28Yrs The candidates who have already served in CMERI/CoEFM as a Trainee / Project Assistant / Project Fellow / JRF / SRF /Research Associate etc. for a period of 5 years or more are not eligible for the above engagements.
