Applications are invited for filling up the 19 posts of Sub-Inspector (Overseer) Group ‘B’ in ITB Police from Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of applications is 20/08/2010. Last date is 27/08/2010 for the candiates from far-flung areas.
Sub-Inspector ; 19 posts
Age : Between 20 to 25 years as on 20/08/2010
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200/-
Qualification : Matric or equivalent with Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.
Fee : All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the “Account Officer, Directorate General, ITB Police Force alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee .
How to Apply : Application Form in prescribed format along with Candidate’s Admission Card and attested copies of requisite documents/testimonials should be sent in an envelope superscriber with bold letter “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) IN ITBPF” by the candidates so as to reach the DIG (Engineer), Directorate General, ITB Police Force, Block No. II, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the last date 20/08/2010.

ITBP was conceived on 24 Oct, 1962. Presently ITBP is deployed on Border Guarding Duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Diphu La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 KM of India-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18500’ in the Western, Middle & Eastern Sector of the India-China Border.
